Unmatched Adventures: overview

The cooperative mode where up to four heroes team up against a game-controlled villain.

Updated about 1 month ago · 1 min

Unmatched Adventures is a standalone, cooperative way to play using the core rules and heroes from Unmatched. Up to four heroes work together to defeat a villain controlled by the game. You can use the heroes in an Adventures set or mix and match heroes from any Unmatched set.

Each villain has a unique objective . Every time the villain completes its objective, things get harder for the heroes, while the villain’s minions threaten them with their own attacks . If the villain completes all of its objectives, the heroes lose.

Adventures is cooperative — communicate what’s in your hand , coordinate turns and make plans. You can even play with open hands if you prefer.

Unless these rules say otherwise, all the normal Unmatched rules still apply.

Winning and losing

  • Win: defeat the villain, reducing its health to zero.

  • Lose: the villain achieves its objective four times, or all of the players’ fighters (heroes and sidekicks ) are defeated.
