Movement & maneuvering
How fighters move across the battlefield: spaces, move value, zones and adjacency.
Updated about 2 months ago · 4 min
On your turn you may maneuver one of your fighters, moving it up to its move value number of spaces . Movement always follows the lines printed on the battlefield .
You never have to use your full move value — moving fewer spaces (or not at all) is always allowed.
Counting spaces
Each move follows connected spaces one step at a time. You may change direction freely, but you may never enter the same space twice in a single maneuver.
Zones & adjacency
Two fighters are adjacent when they occupy spaces connected by a line. Adjacency is what lets you declare an attack .
Special movement
Placed: an effect sets a fighter into a space directly — this is not a maneuver.
Pushed: an opponent moves your fighter; it still follows lines.
Golden rule: whenever a card effect contradicts a general movement rule, the card wins.
